Day trip Ourika valley
You will be picked up at 9am at your lodge. After about a 1.5-hour drive, you will be in the Ourika Valley.
There, at the foot of the Atlas mountains, the hike starts. It's a hike with some climbing and scrambling, but the guide accompanies you well and the hike is at your own pace. The view of the valley, the waterfall and the mountains is beautiful. You are in the middle of nature. The hike is a loop of about 2h where you start at the river at 1410m and hike up to 1600m at a waterfall, then descend back down another road to the river. This is an ideal break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a popular day trip for Moroccans from Marrakech, so you will encounter many local tourists. On a riverside terrace, tagine is ready for lunch. You can also put your feet in the water there!
You'll be back in Marrakech around 4pm.
